Lokita
Lokita is a brand of tequila created with attention to detail and respect for tradition. It is made from ripe Weber agave grown in the unique terroirs of the Mexican state of Jalisco.
The process of producing Lokita tequila is a true art. The secrets of making the drink are carefully preserved and handed down from generation to generation.
The agave fruit for the production of this tequila is harvested in the dry season from January to April, when they accumulate the optimal amount of sugar. This approach allows to maximize the flavor of agave. The piñas, stripped of their leaves, are baked in in-ground wood-fired ovens over low heat, just as for the production of mescal.
The distillation process is another important step in the creation of Lokita tequila. The alcohols are obtained by double distillation in copper distillation cubes and rectification columns. In this way, a perfectly balanced sweetness in the flavor is achieved.
Range

Authentic tequila made from 100% blue agave. It is bottled immediately after distillation, avoiding contact with oak. This way it retains the subtle flavor and aroma of blue agave.

The tequila is aged in new American oak barrels for three months, which gives it delicate fruity and floral notes, as well as a balanced mineral profile of southern clay soils. Lokita Reposado will be the perfect choice for those who appreciate warm hints of wood and spice.
