WineLab launches a flagship store in a new format

On October 10, WineLab JSC — a leading specialized alcohol retailer and part of Novabev Group (ticker: BELU) — opened its largest flagship store to date in Vladivostok at 10 Narodny Prospekt. Spanning over 800 square meters, the store was built based on a customer-centric design tailored to an innovative retail format.

The opening coincides with the chain’s 15th anniversary; its very first stores were launched in the Primorsky Krai region. The store is designed with distinct zones, each dedicated to showcasing a wide range of key alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage categories, along with related products across all price segments. A significant portion of the space is allocated to specialized areas, including a wine library, a bulk purchase section, and a promotions corner.

Seamlessly integrated into the layout are two shop-in-shop zones featuring flagship brands from Novabev Group and WineLab — Beluga and Golubitskoe Estate. The new format heavily incorporates the technologies the chain is betting on for future growth. The store features innovative lighting, self-checkout counters, and a dedicated hub for quick assembly and pickup of online orders. Additional services include a cozy café and an in-store sushi pickup point.

According to the company: “We are creating a modern retail space that blends a culture of consumption with convenience and wide variety. With recent market data showing rising demand for premium offerings, this segment will be prominently featured in the new store.”

The project also placed a strong emphasis on enhancing the store’s surroundings. Going beyond standard landscaping, it features unique design elements from local Primorye artists that celebrate the local area. Furthermore, the company reiterates that its entire business is built upon a foundation of strict legal adherence, financial discipline, and advocating for responsible consumption.

Today, WineLab ranks among the top retail taxpayers in the region, making significant and consistent contributions to the regional budget.
