Official statement of Novabev Group and WineLab on the cyberattack
Novabev Group pays close attention to cybersecurity, regularly improving infrastructure defenses through daily monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and employee training. Thanks to these efforts, the company has been able to repel previous attacks.
However, on July 14, the group was subjected to an unprecedented cyberattack — a large-scale, coordinated action carried out by hackers. The incident resulted in temporary disruption of part of the IT infrastructure, affecting the availability of some of the group’s and WineLab’s services and tools. The attackers contacted us and demanded a monetary reward. However, the company maintains a principled position of rejecting any interaction with cybercriminals and refuses to fulfill their demands.
The IT team is working around the clock to resolve the situation. To speed up the process, external experts have been involved in the investigation. Every effort is being made to resume operations as soon as possible.
Based on the available information, it appears that customers’ personal data has not been compromised. However, the investigation is ongoing.
Cybercrime is becoming more aggressive. We will learn from these attacks and strengthen our defenses to minimize the risk of future ones.
We apologize to our customers and partners for any inconvenience and thank them for their support and understanding.
