Masi

The region of Veneto, on Lake Garda, is famous for its canals, the balcony of Juliet in Verona, and Masi wine house, founded in 1772, which is famed throughout the world. The brand's round emblem, the crest of the Boscanini family, now stands for the art of winemaking that has a history going back to many centuries.
Sandro Boscanini, who currently runs Masi, has transformed the modern Italian winemaking. He created two fine wines, Amarone and Recioto by combining the ancient Venetian technique of Appassimento (grape drying) with innovative fermentation methods. He experimented with the Ripasso method, later patented by the company, and created the unique Campofiorin wine. This wine is often referred to as a “little Amarone”. Signor Boscanini's innovation boosted Veneto as one of the most important wine regions in Italy, equal to Piedmont and Tuscany; thanks to his inventions Masi is now synonymous with premium quality and Amarone wines.
A wide range of Masi's wines is available in Russia, including Canevel sparkling wines, Masi wines from Veneto, Conti Bossi from Trentino, and the Argentinian Masi Tupungato. The bestselling wines are Pinot Grigio Masianco and Moxxé, Rosa dei Masi, Costasera Amarone and Campofiorin. The Campofiorin 50 range of wines has been launched in Russia in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Ripasso technique.
Masi's Argentinian wines deserve particular mention. Passo Doble and Passo Blanco are both produced using the Appassimento technique, in keeping with best traditions of the Veneto region.
