Duca di Salaparuta

Duca di Salaparuta is the largest private winery in Sicily, founded in 1824.
Its founder, Giuseppe Alliata, Duke of Salaparuta, a wine lover and connoisseur, opened his own winery in Casteldaccia to produce French-style wines from autochthonous Sicilian varieties. The company’s wines have repeatedly won prestigious industry awards and rankings, including Wine Enthusiast, Decanter Awards, Falstaff, Vinum, Wine Advocat, Berebene, Vinous and others.
Range

Wine of deep ruby red color. The aroma opens with a combination of red fruits, spices and black pepper, and the taste has delicate tannins and notes that repeat the aroma.

Wine of intense, deep ruby red color with an enveloping aroma that opens with tones of cherry and raspberry. The taste is velvety, with firm but delicate tannins.

A wine of brilliant straw-yellow color with greenish reflections, with an intense, complex, elegant aroma that reveals a variety of fruity nuances. The taste is inviting and fresh, with a long and invigorating aftertaste.

Straw yellow color with a complex aroma dominated by floral and vanilla nuances. The taste is rich and structured, with a velvety texture, citrus notes and a persistent aftertaste.

The color is ruby red with garnet highlights. The taste has notes of strawberry and wild cherry with herbal nuances, ripe tannins and a delicate juicy aftertaste.
