Markus Molitor

Markus Molitor is one of the most renowned producers in the Mosel wine region.

In 1984, at the age of 20, Markus Molitor took over the management of the family winery and set himself the goal of creating great Rieslings with a distinct terroir character from the steep slate slopes of the Mosel.

Today, Markus's estate owns 100 hectares of exceptional vineyards in the region, where wines are produced according to the highest standards. Hand harvesting, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, and lengthy aging on the lees are the winemaker's unwavering principles.

In 2013, several Markus Molitor wines were awarded 100 points by The Wine Advocate, loudly reminding the world of the potential of Mosel wines and the high professionalism of Markus Molitor.
