Fournier Père et Fils

he winery was founded in 1926 in the tiny village of Chavignol. Through perseverance, and at times the boldness and enterprise of the Fournier family members, the estate has become one of the flagships of the Sancerre appellation. For nearly 100 years now, it has been producing famous wines that captivate connoisseurs around the world.

The estate's vineyards are located in all parts of Sancerre, across three terroirs. Small plots situated on different soils, slopes, altitudes, and with various exposures, allow for the creation of multifaceted, complex wines with individual character, harnessing the full potential of Sancerre.

In addition to their majestic Sancerres, the winemakers also produce light and fresh Loire Sauvignons and a juicy Pinot Noir under the J. de Villebois brand.
