Frontera
Frontera is a brand owned by the Concha y Toro winery, the largest wine producer in Chile.
Frontera means "border" in Spanish. This word expresses the geographical peculiarity of the Central Valley, where the red and white grape varieties for the brand’s wines are grown. It is surrounded by four natural boundaries: the arid Atacama Desert to the north, the stunning glaciers to the south, the Andes Mountains to the east, and the Pacific Ocean to the west.
The brand’s wines have won awards at prestigious alcoholic beverage competitions. The Cabernet Sauvignon won gold medals at the 2015 Berlin Wine Trophy and the 2017 Sakura Japan Women’s Wine Awards, while the white Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay won silver at the same competition in Japan. Carmenère won gold at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles Chile 2016.
The Frontera brand is a combination of consistent quality and affordable price that allows millions of consumers around the world to enjoy good wine.
