Berton Vineyard
Berton Vineyards was founded in 1996 by Bob and Cherie Berton. The plot of land acquired by the couple was located in the High Eden subregion, in the Barossa Valley, Australia. The gentle hills, rising 450 meters above sea level, made a beautiful landscape for vineyards
In 2005, Berton Vineyards acquired a wine manufacturing facility in New South Wales, providing for a significant increase in the production output. Today, the company annually processes 20,000 tons of grapes and produces 14 million liters of wine from four grape varieties grown on the farm: Shiraz, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sauvignon Blanc.
Berton Vineyards, once a small company, has become one of the largest wine producers in Australia, ranking 17th by sales volume. The brand's wines regularly receive high marks from critics and experts and pick up awards at both national and international competitions.
