Noy
Noy is a world-renowned brand of Armenian brandy represented in more than 30 countries.
The brand name refers to the biblical figure, Noah, whose journey on the ark during the Flood ended atop Mount Ararat, according to legend. When the waters had pulled back, Noah went down to the valley and planted the first grape vine, laying the foundation for viticulture and winemaking the world over.
The production of Noy brandy brings together longstanding traditions of Armenian brandy making and modern technologies. Distillates are created from autochthonous, predominantly white grape varieties which are grown exclusively inside the country: mskhali, voskehat, rkatsiteli, kangun, and garandmak, among others. Cutting-edge Italian and French equipment used in production helps preserve the best qualities of these unique grape varieties, and aging in oak barrels allows to achieve a harmony of tastes and a unique bouquet with characteristic tones of spicy, vanilla, and woody notes.
