Godet
The House of Godet, the forefather of cognac, was founded in La Rochelle, in the west of France, in the 16th Century. Five centuries and fifteen generations later, Godet is still a family business.
The history of the House of Godet is deeply linked to the Atlantic Ocean.
The vines that produce these cognacs are exposed to a mild climate as well as all the force of the Atlantic Ocean. This unique climate provides the best conditions for the grapes to grow.
