Synergy launched «Captain’s based on Whisky» and «Captain’s based on Brandy» brands

JSC “Synergy” (MOEX: SYNG), the leading distilled spirits producer in Russia started production of the new brands «Captain’s based on Whisky» and «Captain’s based on Brandy» on Traditsyi Kachestva and Uralalko spirits plants. The new products become as addition to already existed «Captain’s Rum» и «Captain’s Gin». The «Captain's brand» is the unique line of spirits which has already proved on the Russian market and guaranteeing high quality for reasonable price.
«Captain’s based on Whisky» and «Captain’s based on Brandy» are positioned in the economy segment and at the moment is bottled in SKU of 0,25 l. and 0,5 l. Sales start of a brand has fixed interest in a product both by the final consumer and retail. The main distributional channels of novelties became on trade and off trade, as also as traditional retail. Besides, categories of whisky and brandy show forward growth in Russia and are perspective for development of trademarks of the Company.
Commenting on the launch, Group Brand Director Ilya Maksimov said: “During development of our novelties the main objective was to keep continuity of a brand. It has been realized via status bright design, corresponding to the international tendencies in spirits industries and undoubted product quality.
The special attention was paid to the flavoring characteristics - as close as possible to taste standards in each of categories. The special blend and perfection of taste secret of «Captain’s based on Whisky» consists a unique combination of the Scottish whiskey distillate, natural cereals and premium spirits. «Captain’s based on Brandy» - is a perfect combination of the French cognac materials of five-year endurance, natural herbs and spices".
