Synergy becomes BELUGA GROUP

Synergy (MOEX: SYNG, hereinafter, the "Company" or the "Group"), the largest spirits Group in Russia reported, that the question of a new corporate brand of the Company BELUGA GROUP is taken out on the agenda of the annual shareholders meeting on June 26. The Group has entered a new global development stage, where it is necessary to ensure the integrity of its image among its target audiences, to "refresh" the corporate culture and to strengthen market positions. The organizational and legal form, the strategy of the Company, its structure, management of business processes remain unchanged.
In the long-term perspective, the Company continues to rely on the expansion of both import and export businesses; the Group's products are sold on 5 continents in more than 70 countries. Moreover, the Company is consistently implementing a policy to increase the premium assortment of the brand portfolio in order to provide its customers with the best possible choice of the most high-quality products and satisfy the most sophisticated demand. The Company is also interested in maintaining and developing its reputation as a reliable and attractive employer with the current headcount of more than 9,000 people. In this regard, the new corporate brand will allow building of more effective external and internal communications.
Commenting on the renewal of the Group's corporate brand, CEO of Synergy Alexander Mechetin said: "Today we face ambitious goals and tasks for business development, including in foreign markets and we want to be much closer, more clear and open to our shareholders, customers, potential employees and those who have already joined our team. Today's name of the Group does not meet the level and specifics of our activities any more, when the direct contact with the final customer comes first, communication with whom is created through the name of the Company.
We are moving forward rapidly and transforming from a Russian spirits Group into an international player in the market of strong alcohol beverages under the title BELUGA GROUP. With an updated brand, we intend not only to increase the recognition of the Company and its products, but also to bring the corporate culture to a new level, to strengthen self-identification of employees with the name of the Group. Moreover, we will further strengthen our relations with foreign and domestic partners, as well as positions in Russia and abroad in the conditions of growing competition. I would also like to note that with BELUGA GROUP we will be able to promote our values more effectively and focus not only on the premium aspect of the Company, but also on the quality that is at the highest level regardless of the category and brand segment.
I am sure that the new name - BELUGA GROUP - will positively influence further dynamic development of the Group, creating additional opportunities for the growth of the business as a whole."
In conclusion, it should be noted that for shareholders, employees, partners and customers, the new name will not entail any additional activities and does not affect the Company's obligations. Bank and contact details, as well as the organizational and legal form - Public Joint Stock Company - will remain unchanged. Documents sent to shareholders, partners and customers will contain our new name - BELUGA GROUP.
