BELUGA GROUP becomes the exclusive distributor for JP. Chenet in Russia

Continuing to expand its portfolio of imported wines, BELUGA GROUP, one of Russia’s largest alcohol companies, assigns to distribution of renowned French wine brand JP. Chenet. The new agreement with producer Les Grands Chais de France comes into effect on January 1, 2021.

JP. Chenet was the first to propose single-varietal wines made from French grape varieties – a revolutionary solution for 1984, the moment of the brand’s launch. The vineyards are located in the most valued winemaking regions of France: Gascony, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees, and Pays d’Oc, bordering the Mediterranean. As for today, JP. Chenet is among TOP-5 Global Wine Brands according to Wine Intelligence Agency: with an export to 173 countries, the brand’s global sales are about 80 million bottles with a slanted neck per year, of which over a million are being sold in Russia. JP. Chenet wines are well-known to several generations of Russian consumers: the brand has been represented here for 25 years. Under BELUGA GROUP leadership JP. Chenet collection will include a wide range of semi-dry, semi-sweet and sparkling wines, and the sales volumes shall be increased up to 1,5 million bottles per year in a 3-years perspective.
